Beautiful colours of October
Swimming
In October, I've been trying to build up my physical routine. I decided to try swimming, and honestly, I absolutely love it! It's such a great, low-impact workout that's easy on the joints, yet it works out almost every muscle in the body. Plus, it's not just great for my physical health - I love how being in the water makes me feel weightless and how rhythmic breathing helps me relax. It's a fantastic way to unwind after a busy day and inject some endorphins into my body! If you're not super fit like me, I highly recommend swimming!
Shiny sink!
I'm not a fan of routines, but I understand their value. Lately, one by one, I've been making an effort to incorporate them into my life and found one that I've been following for the past few weeks when I stumbled upon Fly Lady and her Shiny Sink cleaning routine. I have to say, it's been a game-changer for me. The idea is simple - keep your kitchen sink shiny and clean, and it will inspire you to keep the rest of your kitchen tidy as well + I've never had such a clean sink!
At first, I was skeptical about how something as small as a shiny sink could make such a big difference. But after trying it out, I can say that it does work! Not only does a clean sink make the entire kitchen look neater, but it also gives me a sense of accomplishment and motivation to keep going with my cleaning routine + it's very satisfying seeing your sink so spotless. The best part is that it doesn't take much effort to maintain it. I just make sure to clean it out every day and give it a good scrub once a week, and it stays sparkling clean.
If you're looking for a simple and effective way to keep your home clean and organized, I really recommend giving the Shiny Sink concept a try.
Have you ever heard about Fly Lady?
Recipe
Last time, I promised to share one of my favourite recipes with you every month. As a pescetarian, I'm always on the lookout for delicious and healthy recipes to add to my collection, and I'm thrilled to share some of them with you! I hope they inspire you to get adventurous in the kitchen and try something new. Meatless cuisine offers endless possibilities, and I want to help you discover some tasty options.

As per Instagram request, I'm sharing the recipe for sweet potato curry this month. This cozy and hearty meal is perfect for chilly autumn or winter nights.
Not only it's super tasty, but it's also packed with healthy nutrients. Sweet potatoes are a fantastic source of fibre, as well as vitamins B6 and C. You can serve it with rice or bread or just enjoy it as a standalone dish. And the best part? It's a quick and easy one-pot meal made with red curry paste (instead of a long list of spices).
Overall, sweet potato curry is a healthy, flavorful, and comforting dish that's perfect for any occasion. Whether you're a vegetarian or just looking to add more plant-based meals to your diet, I definitely recommend giving this recipe a try. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you for it!
Let me know if you'd try it.
I'm excited to share with you my recipe for Kapuśniak (Polish sauerkraut soup) next time! If you can't wait and want the recipe earlier, feel free to DM me on Instagram. I'd be happy to share it with you.
That's it for today! How was October for you? I'd love to hear all about the highlights of your month. Looking forward to catching up with you next month!

And here are some of this month's photos.

After the September campaign, my husband and I decided to treat ourselves to some relaxation at our favourite spot - the Scandinavian Spa in Whistler.

Another busy month in service.

If you know let me know what plant is that.

Spotted a lone hydrangea blossom. It's incredible how it survived the harshness of October's weather.
